Dasavatharam starts rolling
The leading production company Oscar Films is producing this movie in which Kamal dons ten different roles. This movie will be taken in three languages such as Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. This trilingual movie has an impressive cast which includes Kamal, ace director K.S.Ravi Kumar, cinematographer Jeeva and music director Himesh Reshammiya and a handful of heroines. This movie's budget is estimated as Rs 30 crores. The major portion of this movie's shooting is scheduled to be shot in the U.S. The entire movie was insured for Rs 29 crores. This is the highest insurance amount ever covered for any Tamil movie.
Mallika Sherawat in Kamal's Dasavatharam
Mallika Sherawat will play a negative role in Kamal Haasan's forthcoming Tamil film "Dasavataram".
Kamal told the media that Mallika had accepted the role of a villain.
He said the brief discussion took place when she was here recently for shooting in Mani Ratnam-directed "Guru", in which she plays a crucial cameo role.
According to Kamal, Mallika told him she was "prepared to play any role" in a film made by him. Kamal is playing 10 different roles in the film.
